Spring Football Registration Listing

2026 Spring Flag Football

Spend time on the field developing your athletes football skills, knowledge, and coachability without the physicality of tackle football. This is a great way to learn the game for beginners, or sharpen up those football skills for returning athletes. Players are led by volunteer coaches, learning basic offensive and defensive positions, drills, and competing against athletes from across Iredell County.
Co-Ed 7U (5v5 Flag), 9U(5v5 Flag), 11U (7v7), 13u(7v7)
Girls only 9U(5v5 Flag), and 13U(5v5 Flag)

7U is for athletes 7 or younger on March 1st. The will play 5 on 5 flag football. Games are played at local area high schools on Sunday Afternoon beginning in March.
9U is for athletes 9 or younger on March 1st. The will play 5 on 5 flag football. Games are played at local area high schools on Sunday Afternoon beginning in March.
11U is for athletes 11 or younger on March 1st. The will play 5 on 5 flag football. Games are played at local area high schools on Sunday Afternoon beginning in March.

Middle School 7 on 7 is for 13u and must currently attend middle school and be under 13 years of age.

The season runs from March through the end of May. Practices will be 1-2 days per week (based on coach availability and Field availability) in Troutman. Games will be on Sunday afternoon starting at 1pm - 7pm. Younger divisions will have games starting around 1pm with older divisions later in the afternoon. 

Gate Fees will be charged per guest under 12 years old, cash only.

Spring Football

Information for spring football:
Spring football typically practices once a week and games are always on Sunday afternoon between 1-6pm. This allows players the ability to play spring football while playing another spring sport such as soccer, baseball, or softball. 


5 on 5 flag: 
For players in 1st and 2nd grades.
Field Size- Width-26 yards (1/2 of the width of a football field). Length 40 yards.

5 on 5 flag:
For players in 3rd and 4th grade.
Field Size- Width-26 yards (1/2 of the width of a football field). Length 40 yards.

7 on 7 touch (helmet required):
For players in the 5th and 6th grade. 
Field Size- Width-52 yards. Length 40 yards.
